How to Activate Your Heart’s Inner Wisdom
Focus Your Attention Within and Activate Your Heart Essence.
- Find a comfortable space where you feel relaxed and calm. Just Breathe slow and easy for a few moments. Then, take 1 Deep Breath in and hold for 4 seconds expanding your chest and your lungs as much as you can.
- RELEASE and FEEL the relief in your body as the energy moves through your entire body out of your feet into the heart of the Earth.
- Now, Stay in that state of presence with your body. Focus on your Heartbeat with your hand on your Heart. Take in two more deep breaths counting to 4 and releasing each time. Really FEEL the Energy moving and feel the shift take place within you.
- Next, bring your focus to your Heart and just notice it beating while you place your hand on it and feel your breath flowing in and flowing out.
- Quietly ask yourself some reflective questions such as, “What is my inner wisdom guiding me toward right now?” or “What is the most optimal way to bring well-being and centeredness into my life right now, in this moment?” Maybe you will want to ask specific things like, “What would strengthen my relationship with those around me?” “What would strengthen my relationship with myself, my health?”
The Magic is You! It is Within You.
Trusting Your Inner Wisdom
The answers you are looking for will reveal themselves. The timing in which they do will be Divine. I invite you to let go and be open without trying to find the answers. Let them just show up.
Answers may come as a sudden thought in your day. Sometimes someone who crosses your path will say something that sparks your awareness that there is your answer!! Magic is within You and all around you! It is You! Your inner wisdom already knows what is best for you.
No one knows your Divine Answers for you like you do.
Your heart and inner wisdom knows what priorities are most important for you to accomplish in a day in perfect order for you. Your Heart Wisdom knows what words to say when you pick your child/teen up from school that will create space for a loving conversation! Your Heart Wisdom knows the perfect Practitioner or Healthcare provider for you to seek care from specifically for you and your journey

A Personal Example of Following Inner Guidance
For example, I have recognized my own Inner Wisdom when I was deciding when a good time was for me to interview for the training to become a level 2 TOLPAKAN™ Certified Energy Practitioner. I remember asking my Heart and did not know the answer for a few weeks when Dr. Karen herself, the Founder and Creator of the Method sent me a personal video email asking me if I would be interested in interviewing. I KNEW without a shadow of a doubt the time was at that moment, and I responded immediately with Yes. I had asked my Heart and then let it go, and the answer revealed itself.
Inner wisdom can ease stress and even physical discomfort.
Inner guidance can influence your professional and your personal life.
When You Connect to You Solutions can then arise that are unexpected. Physical Pain can dissolve! Here are the steps again:
- Relax and connect to your body by turning your focus within.
- Take your attention within your body and allow your mind to focus there, noticing anything at all without judgement! Notice any kind of movement, pain even that you are feeling, or just any tingling sensations. Release any judgements and just notice and observe with curiosity.
- Ask Your Heart! “What do I need to know here or see with what is going on in my life? For example, with this sudden excruciating pain in my back?
A Client’s Story: Healing Through Inner Connection
I had a client who was experiencing severe back pain radiating down the leg. This client came to me for 6 TOLPAKAN™ sessions. When I asked him after each session how he felt, his response was, “relaxed and at peace!”
At the beginning of each session, I helped him connect to his body and his Heart through STOIM™ (Stillness Through Observing Internal Movement). STOIM™ was founded and created by my teacher and mentor, Dr. Karen Kan. She is also the founder and Creator of the TOLPAKAN™ healing method and the Academy of Light Medicine™.
How tuning into his heart helped relieve chronic pain
In his sessions, this client learned how to connect with his Heart and his body. Before he became aware of connecting in Stillness to his own Inner Wisdom, he was going through life on autopilot, just surviving, working, chores, worrying about sales at work, etc.
For the first time in his life, he consciously became aware that he could connect to his wisdom within to find peace and serenity even while sitting at his desk at work. The pain he had been feeling was his body asking him to stop and pay attention, to slow down, to move through his day coming from a different energy than just rush, rush, rush!
It only takes a few moments, seconds rather. The intensity of pain would immediately dissolve every time he did this.
The pain in his body was teaching him how important it was for him to shift his focus/his attention/ his awareness within instead of worrying so much about the outside world and all the rush energy!
*Note: This is not to say ALL kinds of physical conditions just dissolve this way, BUT for him, this was the case.
Final Thoughts: Let Go & Stay Open to the Answers
It is AMAZING the intelligence that we have within us and that our bodies want to share if we just listen. Our bodies and our emotions give us information and then we can quietly go to our Hearts and ask what is it that I need to see, feel, learn, grow from, etc. from this information?
Then let go of any attachments to waiting for the answer or what the answer is, but stay open and aware that it will come, and you will receive it when it does😊
